“For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love.” (Galatians 5:6 AMP)
Love is true affection for God and man growing out of God’s love for and in us. It is love that empowers our faith to work. Paul says if we have faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, we gain nothing.
We live by faith in the Son of God, who loved us and gave Himself for us. Faith is a union of belief and trust. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. We learn to trust Him as we get to know Him and as we experience His love for us.
It is God’s desire for us to trust Him with all our heart. We can trust Him because He loves us and wants what is best for us. He will never let us down when we live for Him and trust Him. He promised that all things will work together for our good because we love Him and are called according to His purpose.
Our faith is the material that God uses to bring His will to pass in our lives. God’s Word is His will. We believe His Word with our heart and confess it with our mouth. We release our faith by speaking the Word of God into our situations. If we will put the Word into our hearts in abundance, it will come our of our mouths in abundance. That is when we will begin seeing the manifestation of God’s will in our lives.
Living by faith and walking in love go hand in hand. Living the life of love and faith is the high life God wants us to live. This is the life that pleases, honors and glorifies God. It is living life in His Presence!
Pray this:
“Heavenly Father, I want Your will to be done in my life. I surrender all to You. Thank You for empowering me with Your Holy Spirit to live the life of love and faith that You have called me to live.”
“In Jesus Name, Amen.”
